Olivia K. Smith

Olivia K. Smith has been practicing law since 2007 and serves as Of Counsel to Cornetet, Meyer, Rush & Stapleton (CMRS). She is also the founder and owner of The Smith Law Group, a boutique law firm focused on estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, probate administration, and special needs planning. While maintaining her own practice through The Smith Law Group, Olivia continues to collaborate with CMRS clients as Of Counsel in the areas of estate planning, elder law, probate administration, and special needs planning.

Olivia represents individuals and families throughout Ohio and Kentucky in matters involving estate planning, long term care planning, probate and trust administration, and special needs planning. She is passionate about helping clients protect their assets, preserve family harmony, and navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions with confidence and clarity.

Prior to concentrating her practice in estate planning and elder law, Olivia spent many years handling domestic relations matters, including divorce and child custody cases. Although she no longer actively practices in that area, the experience provided valuable insight into family dynamics, conflict resolution, and the long-term impact family relationships can have on estate and long term care planning. Olivia brings those lessons to every client relationship, emphasizing patience, practical guidance, and personalized solutions.
