Michael is a lifelong resident of West Chester and graduated from Lakota West High School. After attending school in Cleveland, he happily returned to his hometown to practice law with Cornetet, Meyer, Rush & Stapleton.
His primary practice areas include business transactions and tax planning. Michael has experience in the preparation of tax returns, audit responses, corporate governance documents, and various legal agreements. He has successfully represented business clients on matters ranging from standard contract negotiation and entity formation to complex securities offerings and exemptions.
Michael received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, graduating in the top 15% of his class. He was an editor of the Case Western Reserve Law Review and received awards for coursework in Mergers & Acquisitions and Wills & Trusts. Following his second year of law school, he clerked at a law firm in Westlake, Ohio. As a law clerk, Michael participated in research and document review for business and tax planning.
Michael also attended college at Case, where he received a B.S. in Accounting with minors in history and political science. He represented student concerns as a member of the Undergraduate Student Government and served as a panelist on the 2010 Constitution Day Committee.
