Background

Jennifer was born and raised in Cincinnati. Upon receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati, Jennifer began practicing law with Cornetet, Meyer, Rush & Stapleton.

Her primary practice areas include intellectual property, specifically trademark and copyright law, business transactions, and estate planning. Jennifer has experience with state and federal trademark registration, trademark searches, and international trademark registration. She assists clients with entity selection and formation and contract preparation and negotiation, including operating agreements, lease agreements, contractor agreements, purchase agreements, and other various legal agreements.
Jennifer’s practice also consists of advising and working with clients on preparing wills, trusts, and other disability and estate planning documents.

Following her first year of law school, Jennifer clerked for the Honorable Robert P. Ruehlman in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. During her time at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Jennifer was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and competed in the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition and the Frank A. Schreck Gaming Law Moot Court Competition. She was also the Executive Editor for the College of Law’s Intellectual Property and Computer Law Journal. Following her second year of law school, Jennifer spent her summer working with the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic where she represented multiple local small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs on transactional legal issues, with the help of supervising attorneys. Other accomplishments include College of Law Scholarship and Dean’s Honors List.

Jennifer also attended the University of Cincinnati for her undergraduate degree, where she obtained her Bachelor of Art in psychology, with a minor in communications. She was treasurer of the Pre-Law club and a member of other on-campus organizations.
